Currently Matthew is actively developing several projects including ETTAMOGAH, a CGI cartoon based on the works of cartoonist Ken Maynard; the feature film HOLLOW POINT, which Matthew has written and is set to direct with Resolution Independent and Producers Peter Ford and Mark Pennell (STORM WARNING) their last film, which was recently acquired by The Weinstein Company; also in development is the feature film UNDERCOVER, which MatthewÊis adapting from the best sellingÊbook by Damian MarretÊandÊset to direct, with producers Daniel Dubiecki, (THANK YOU FOR SMOKING, JUNO) and Torus Tammer through their Los Angeles based production company HARD C. 2003-2006 GREENLIGHT PICTURES Owner Melbourne, Australia- Los Angeles, CA. Wrote and developed an original screenplay written for Network Movie in Association with ZDF; called THE DOCTORS, with Samuel Shem (THE HOUSE OF GOD) set for production in 2008. Developed and adapted AN AFFAIR OF SORCERERS with Peter Dinklage (The Station Agent) attached to star, based on the best-selling series of books by George C. Chesbro; developed GOD OF WAR written by Richard Vitere and adapted from his stage play; wrote and developed the feature film project ACAPULCO GOLD with HBO. Developed with GPI-DIGITAL various previsualization animatic techniques and CGI projects. 1999-2002 MEDIA WORLD Wrote and Directed the feature film LET'S GET SKASE with Producers John Tatoulis and Executive Producer Joel Pearlman. The film was released in October 2002 by Village Roadshow. Starring Lachy Hulme, Alex Dimitriades and Craig McLachlan, "Let's Get Skase" tells the story of a group of men trying to return Christopher Charles Skase, the infamous billionaire who fleeced MGM/UA and his Australian stockholders of more than 1.5 Billion dollars, back to Australia to face trial. Negotiated foreign distribution deals through Al Haze at The Machine in Los Angeles, California. 1996-1999 PIPELINE PICTURES Melbourne, Australia. Wrote and directed the feature film FOUR JACKS with Producer Steve Stanford. This award-winning film bristled with a kinetic energy rarely found in an Australian feature film and became an audience favorite on the film festival circuit around the world, securing Best Director, Best Film Awards at the 2000 Melbourne Underground Film Festival. Negotiated international distribution deals through Sid Sheinberg's company, The Machine, in Los Angeles, California and Al Haze through Cinema Vault International. 1993-1994 IMPERIAL ENTERTAINMENT Wrote and directed the feature film UNDER THE GUN a.k.a. IRON FIST. This production was undertaken for Imperial Entertainment Group with Fred Weintraub, Tom Kuhn and Chuck Norris serving as Executive Producers on the project. 'Under The Gun' was an action packed thriller starring Richard Norton, Roland Dantes, Jane Badler and Kathy Long. Released by Imperial Entertainment and Palace Films. 1990-1994 VILLAROSSA PICTURES Production Representative, Los Angeles, CA. in conjunction with Paul Currie, and Devesh Chetty, Matthew developed internal administrative structures and finance strategies in Los Angeles and Singapore as well as writing and developing several feature film projects for, Cannon Pictures and The Overseas Filmgroup. 1989-1990 SUPERVISION PRODUCTIONS Cameraman, Production Assistant, Editor.
